Our “Kiducation Curriculum” promotes holistic learning that develops all 7 essential areas of learning. The goal of our curriculum is to promote a personalized and differentiated early childhood education for children aged 2 to 6 years of age.

Early Years

Early Years Age Groups for the session starting in April / June:

Playgroup – 2 years | Nursery – 3 years

The “Early Years Program” at Podar Jumbo Kids promotes age-appropriate, holistic development, focusing on nurturing each child’s communication and language skill, creative expression and physical, self and social development. Brain stimulation is at its peak at this age and thus activities that nurture brain development are implemented in age and developmentally appropriate ways through play, language, and exploration activities.

Activities are designed to help the early year’s children learn by making sense of things and people around them, investigate the world, form relationships, and engage in active social interactions. Early years learning in the Nursery class ensures a smooth transition to the more structured and skill-driven learning expectations of the kindergarten years.

In the Kindergarten groups, the prime focus of our curriculum now revolves around the emergent strategies of the early years and the purposeful acquisition and understanding of content, skills, and concepts in literacy, numeracy and knowledge, and understanding of the world.

Our Kindergarten Curriculum nurtures and supports children’s interest, curiosity, and their natural quest for knowledge, leading to developing skills of problem solving, inquiry, investigation, discovery, and active hands-on explorations. In our Kindergarten curriculum, even though learning is based on play and exploration, it is very well structured and integrated across multiple disciplines of language, math, science, writing, and technology. This is done to meet expectations for holistic goals, development of life skills, dispositions, and attitudes, as well as academic achievements.

  Daycare

Daycare is fast emerging as the need for working parents. With both parents away from home the entire day, the child is either left with a helper at home or in a crèche. In both cases, quality care is not available for the child. A crèche will look after the eating and sleeping needs of the child but not enough care is taken about the emotional or social development. When the child is left with the helper at home, he/she watches TV or whiles away his/her time and more often than not his language development, social development and emotional development suffers because of the lack of proper care.

Therefore, we also offer a Daycare facility in many of our Podar Jumbo Kids centers so children can learn and grow in a well-researched manner at their home away from home.

Podar Jumbo kids Daycare has adopted the unique “moving space concept.” The child has different spaces for every activity.

So at Podar Jumbo kids Plus Daycare, we have:

• Letter Space: With a specially trained teacher and the world famous jolly phonics program, we take care of your child’s reading, writing, spelling, and grammar needs.
• The Number Space: A Math expert takes care of number learning through games and activities. Learning number skills becomes appropriate, fun and interesting.
• Concept Space: With the unique concept space, the child explores the world of knowledge, be it fruits, vegetables, animals, colors, flowers, insects, and more.
• The Jump – Twirl And Bounce Studio: A special space with the unique sensorial equipment to develop your child’s fine and gross motor skills. This room also has the unique “Kids Yoga Program” that helps them develop eye-hand coordination and dexterity for perfect physical development.
• The Creative Space: For all the child’s art, craft, drama and entertainment needs.

Mother Toddler

Fun learning methods for children between 12 to 24 months which help in brain development through multi-sensory activities, this program helps the children gain a smooth transition to Nursery. The program also touches upon play-way, Montessori, Reggio, Froebel, & EYFS blended learning.
